Nothing says love quite like a freshly baked sweet treat! Whether it's heart shaped cookies or chocolate truffles, these goodies are guaranteed to bring everyone together. Here is a recipe for our top pick this Valentine's Day:

1. Cream together 100g of soft butter and 50g of caster sugar until smooth and fluffy. 
2. Add 150g of plain flour and use your hands to bring the mixture into a dough.
3. Chill the dough mix in the fridge for 20 minutes.
4. Roll out the dough to 0.5cm thick on a lightly floured worktop. Use a heart shaped cookie cutter to stamp out the biscuits and place on a lined baking tray. 
5. Chill again in the fridge for 30 minutes to make sure the hearts keep their shape when baked. Preheat the oven to 160°C fan / 180°C conventional. 
6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the biscuits start to turn golden at the edges. 
7. Decorate with your favourite icing, melted chocolate or sprinkles!
